The Community Builders Legacy Society honors generous and forward-thinking individuals who leave an indelible mark on our community through a gift from their estate. Whether you create or add to a grantmaking fund at the Community Foundation, your listing as a Community Builder is our way of acknowledging today your commitment to our shared future.
A planned gift can be a simple bequest in your will or a more complex arrangement involving a charitable remainder trust or charitable lead trust. You can use charitable assets that range from cash and stock to real estate or a life insurance policy.
Whatever method or asset you choose, we can share information with you and your professional advisor about tools that accomplish your estate planning goals, including:
• Providing current income and a significant charitable gift later • Reducing income, capital gains and/or estate taxes • Establishing a philanthropic legacy for future generations by creating or adding to an advised grantmaking fund
Call 205-327-3805 or contact Erin Stephenson, Director of Gift Planning, for more information about making such a gift or to make sure that we can honor you as a member of our Community Builders Legacy Society. |
